Excerpt from an in-progress film project that touches on modes of visual language-making that represent the multiplicities of relation with the land, within contexts of occupation, ecological collapse and colonial inheritances. The film also seeks to articulate strategies for imaging landscape and imagining its better futures in an attempt to unlearn the inheritance of the landscape tradition and to self-question the role of the artist in relationship with the land.
