Gardens of Others
Gardens of Others is a research podcast on black lives and gardens on the occasion of MADEYOULOOK’s digital residency with Primary during the covid lockdowns of 2020 and 2021.
Gardens of Others is the result of a year of conversations with growers of colour from Britain. Our conversations drifted from personal memories of encountering the land and growing as practice, migrant inheritances and their presences in gardening, plant life and food, racism and British colonial histories that connect with the land.
